24, RAID-5 project, wireless camera security.

It’s been a while since the last update, blog-wise. Had some bad lunch on Monday, which made me feel sick for two days, but I’m over it now. Since it’s not too busy at work, I was able to risk missing some work off the record, but fortunately, I didn’t have to.

Started watching 24. Did an 8 episode/hour marathon last night. Holy crow, what an addictive show. You really start to feel the fatigue that Jack is feeling as you watch more and more. I would do another 8 hours tonight, but I have some plans.

First off, Patrick and Wil called me up to see if I knew anything about RAID, which, of course, I have lots of theory knowledge, but no practical experience in. So, tonight, we’re all going off to an INCO office that has an IBM eServer that needs three SCSI drives added to an existing three SCSI drive array, RAID-5. We’ll see what happens when we get there, but since the server is an old one, I’m not entirely sure that we’d have to delete the entire array and rebuild a new one if we want to add these drives. Worse comes to worst, we restore everything by tape backup. If they have it.

After that, I’m expected to hit Roadside to help them install their new wireless camera security, which is an after hours job for me. More money means more spendage. Yahoo.

Also just finished importing and formatting all my Blogger and LJ entries. Now, just have to transfer it to my website and begin porting my theme over.

Not much else going on, but I do have a manga project in the works. I won’t say much else, though, since my ideas are like air. Breathe in, breathe out. I hope not, though. I’ve been drawing recently and coming up with ideas in my head to expand the current storyline I’ve drafted. Cross my fingers, if I believe in luck.

The one with all the Lesson Reviews.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with this blog ever since I started using Hummingbird last fall. So, I decided to try an idea of mine called Lesson Reviews. Essentially, it’s more of a “what I learned from X anime” than a review, but the thing is, there will be good and […]
