The one where…

I’m so lazy, I can’t even think of a title for this blog entry.

Not much going on, except that I’m still buying stuff. For all you people out there who can’t afford some of the stuff I buy or don’t have a credit card, don’t worry. I was like you once, and I never thought I would ever be able to buy some of the products out there that I desired. Well, lo and behold, I got a few jobs, and I’m suddenly buying the things I want (while still making enough to invest for my future). So, don’t fret, for your time will surely come! (Frak, I sound like a mad prophet.)

Superman Returns is playing at the end of this month. Fortunately, it’s Canada Day that very weekend, so I’ll be heading down to Winnipeg with Esmond just to see the movie and eat some good food. Sounds like a wasted trip? You bet. If Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest were playing that weekend, we’d watch it too. Speaking of Esmond, he’s now in final exam week. Pretty scary, eh? Luckily, he only has chemistry and calculus to worry about, so it should go easily for him, despite his lack of confidence.

Now, on to the purchasing front. I ordered another new mook of Aoi Sora. Speaking of the AV starlet, I got in the first single CD of her new J-Pop career, and it doesn’t sound too bad at all. As for the next purchase, here’s the back story. As usual, I’m running out of hard drive space on my computer, Mitake, but what I’m most worried about is the inevitability of my hard drives failing at any given time, without warning. I’ve suffered from hard drive failure before, and let me tell you – it’s not pretty. I barely escaped unscathed when my 15 GB got toasted in my eMachine – talk about a rough ride. I was able to retrieve all my e-mail off it, but I had to say goodbye to all my other data. I was much more upset about it than I was when my first steady girlfriend and I broke up after a year and a half. Hehehe.

Anyway, I’ve decided to remedy the situation. I ordered two 320 GB SATA hard drives and two Nexstar SATA/USB 2.0 enclosures. Seeing as how I only have 400 GB of data that needs to be backed up, I’m laughing. However, that leaves me high and dry with my laptop data, music archive, and JGirls collection. I’ll most likely need to pick up another 320 GB to handle the bulk of that stuff, but for now, I’m more worried about the PC that’s always filling up with space faster than I can burn to DVD+R.

New updates in my Preorders page – that page seems to be the only thing on this blog that I’ve been updating recently. I almost forgot, the Saishuu Heiki Kanojo DVD movie was just shipped. Yay! Also, Inhumanoids Vol. 2 and Stealth Original Score are on their way, but it sucks because I still have to wait for Inhumanoids Vol. 1. HOBBY SEARCH is also getting in gear – my Sonsaku Hakufu figure is being prepped for shipping.

I just realized that my site is rather boring. Ever since I stopped posting pictures of stuff I bought, everything is so blah. Well, once I get my collection page running, I can crosspost and stuff.

The one with all the Lesson Reviews.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with this blog ever since I started using Hummingbird last fall. So, I decided to try an idea of mine called Lesson Reviews. Essentially, it’s more of a “what I learned from X anime” than a review, but the thing is, there will be good and […]
