Yotsuba To! – Action Pose
I got my consolidation signed and approved yesterday. In between all that time, I was so pooped from work because of the lack of sleep from the night before because I had to get up early to hit INCO first thing (blame my sudden writing craze), so I didn’t get much else done. I did fix a home PC for somebody after work, but I only had one meal that entire day, and it was after work.
Well, first things first before the work explanation. The consolidation is a four-year term for a total of $21,000. Surprised yet? I am. I’ve never borrowed that much money before (all in one shot, that is), so it’s just a candle to how much my credit has grown. When you move into the higher tax bracket, things sure get interesting (but you pay lots of tax). I’m not too concerned about the loan, though. If I keep up my lowered spending habits, I should have that sucker paid off in a year and 9 months at the latest. Even though I have a trip planned to visit Esmond in Winnipeg next month, I plan to have my company pay for most of the trip (because I plan to study my ass off and take my Server+ exam at the same time). In addition, I may be finding myself an higher paying job later. It’s not definite, so I’m not going to hold out for it.
And now, the work summary for yesterday. Nexi found somebody to replace Peter, but she wouldn’t be able to start work until Wednesday (today, and yes, I met her, but no, she’s not hot). Now, if Peter or Colin were ever sick, one would cover for the other and that would be that. Due to the SLA, two techs have to be there at all times, so that meant I had to report to INCO first thing, so I did. Had to get my sleep-deprived ass up at 6:30 to get there, but, oh well. Work sucks even more when you’re drowsy, have no energy, have an empty stomach, and have shitloads of work to do. I had my moments of slacking, but that day, I couldn’t afford it. For the icing on the cake, I had to take care of another contract that had a very picky SLA. As a result, I had to go in after hours with NO overtime pay to get them up and running. Once that was done, I managed to call my personal client to reschedule for later that evening so I could go to the restaurant and eat something. I’m just glad that the PC cooperated, or you would have seen this tech in jail for calculated destruction of mass computers all over town.
So, that was my hectic story yesterday. The moral of the story? There is none.
No, no, wait. Don’t sleep late. That’s it.
At least I got to eat a late night garlic bread snack. Mmmm. I loves me some garlic bread. Yessir, I do. But I HATE Mondays.
Chrno Crusade Wallpaper – Azu-Cream by aibuster
I loved this wallpaper. It’s so cute, that I decided to share it with you here. The artist made a screenshot from the anime and painstakingly vector CG’ed the chibi Azmaria, and made a confectionary treat to complement the kawaii.
Oh, wait! There’s more!
Didn’t really like the pictorial – it wasn’t as sexy as this image.
