After the recent release of TALES OF THE ABYSS for PS2, I’ve been going back and reminiscing about TALES OF DESTINY, the PS-X game that I played many years ago. I really wanted to play ABYSS this weekend, but I only have a Japanese PS2 – but it’s just as well, since I hate dubs. So, I went online and did the next best thing – I ordered four TALES games – TALES OF ETERNIA (PSP), TALES OF SYMPHONIA (PS2), TALES OF DESTINY (PS2), and TALES OF LEGENDIA (PS2). All the bargain Japanese versions too. Thank goodness my PC repairs on the side are increasing now that winter is settling in.
I went to Tony’s yesterday and spent my whole afternoon there, buying stuff, reading Hagaren 9, and eating a combo pizza with no meat. Funny story about that. I ordered a small combo pizza – it comes with pepperoni, salami, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms – but with no cheese. It was busy that day for them, and when I got my pizza, they remembered not to put in cheese, but for some strange reason, they forgot to put in the meat. Well, I was too hungry by then, so I ate it. All of it. Their small pizza is 12″, by the way. I still can’t believe that I ate all that.
I still might pick up an HDXtreme, which will allow one to play their PS2 games off the internal HDD or an external one. If it doesn’t work on my JP PS2, I can always give it to Esmond. It would save him from carrying tons of PS2 games with him.
TALES OF PHANTASIA – Character Cast
I’ve been thinking about watching this series for some time, but it never clicked in my head that it was part of the TALES series, for some strange reason. Well, now that I know, I want to watch this even more. I’d get the game too, but it’s still kind of expensive right now. Definitely when it drops in price. NTSC J games are just way too expensive to buy at full retail price, so I have to either eBay them or buy them at the bargain prices after a year or so. I just have to hope they don’t go OOP by that time.
Well, not much to say – it’s been a lackluster weekend. Other than working at the restaurant, fixing PCs, and watching The Break-Up yesterday (not at James H’s place – he hates chick flicks), it’s been somewhat relaxed. I’ll probably stop over at James G’s later, since his wife is in Toronto right now. For now, I’m starving, and Dad apparently made pizza at the restaurant.
NSFW images ahead.
Their melons are touching! Hehehe. I know, that was an ecchi comment, but I couldn’t resist. Speaking of hentai, I watched a bit of a hentai anime called Imouto De Ikou! It’s actually pretty cute, funny, and has somewhat of a storyline. I’d have to rate it up there with Akibakei Kanojo.
Why, hello! ^_^
