Work, 24 completed, China-bound parents, BSG.

Well, it’s been too long since the last update, but all for good reason. Work has been hella busy, and I have four out-of-town trips I have to make in the next two weeks for work. Got a few orders in too, but haven’t had a chance to take pictures or scan covers, but I will soon. Believe it or not, I’ve been doing nothing after hours except watch shows.

Finished watching 24 two Thursdays ago. Very awesome, although I already knew what would happen in the end, no thanks to the huge spoiler on the back of the second season DVD box set. Bastards. Regardless, I’ll be saving my pennies for the next three seasons, but it’ll be a while before that happens.

My parents left for China last Sunday. It’s only been a week since they’ve left, but it’s been a special kind of hell for me (the kind reserved for child molesters and people who talk at the theater). Now that Mom is gone, I’ve had to take care of a lot of chores in her stead. Sure, Esmond has helped me a bit, but I’ve been waking up early and doing most of the cooking and cleaning. Let me tell you – I have no idea how Mom does it. I can’t even do half of the things she does, and I’m already worn out and ready for sleep every night.

However, I had a couple chances where I had time to watch Battlestar Galactica. I love it a lot. I especially love Number Six (Tricia Helfer) and Boomer (Grace Park).

In between those few minutes left before bedtime, I managed to sneak in the latest episodes of Kashimashi ~GIRL MEETS GIRL~, MAJIKANO, REC, and Fate/stay night. Last weekend, I was able to finish the rest of ARIA The ANIMATION. I especially fell in love with this series, with its slice-of-life events, simple comedy, and the music. Oh, the music! As soon as I get back on my feet, I’ll be getting the soundtrack and the singles.

Yeah, so since I’ve been busy working, doing housechores, and watching shows, I haven’t had a chance to work on my website. Maybe tomorrow. I got a haircut last night, by the way.

The one with all the Lesson Reviews.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with this blog ever since I started using Hummingbird last fall. So, I decided to try an idea of mine called Lesson Reviews. Essentially, it’s more of a “what I learned from X anime” than a review, but the thing is, there will be good and […]
