Well, I’m now posting from my new computer, which I’ve named Mitake-chan. Bought it on Friday, just as scheduled, but I didn’t really get it up and running until last night. I also had to reinstall Windows XP Home, since this computer was a display model from who-knows-which-RadioShack. Not a big deal, since I paid really cheap for it, and it was just a cheap extra computer to have. It’s a little slower than I’m used to, but after a new RAM upgrade, a faster hard drive upgrade, and a Radeon upgrade (I’ve got James-see’s old Radeon in it now), it will be faster than Hagiwara-chan. I don’t mean for it to be, but… oh well! Funny how you spend less money on a cheap computer that turns out to be better than your old one. I think that’s just really how it works. Buy a good and awesome computer, and it has problems. Buy a crappy and cheap computer, and it’s more stable than the expensive one. I’ve already started downloading anime on this thing. Picking up right where I last left off… hmm… maybe I should buy a CD-RW drive for this thing too.
