ハンガ小説 (HANGA Shousetsu).

Girl of the Day

Iwasa Mayuko

I’ve gone through many names for my manga studio, but I’ve never penciled much manga. However, considering the amount of written work I’ve made and made available for public distro, I’ve come up with a studio name that perfectly describes the ambiguity of my hobby – ハンガ小説 (romanized as HANGA Shousetsu). Although I’ve never truly penciled a full manga, I’ve written lots of manga-style fiction that can easily be turned into a manga, due to the exact expressions and styles that I describe in my written work. I love drawing, but writing comes easier to me, while I really have to work at drawing just to produce something of quality, and even then, I still need a lot of work.

The story I’ve started is going well. I don’t know how long I plan to make it, but I promise that it will be shorter than what I usually do. Mostly, as I may have mentioned before, the story is to keep my writing skills sharp while my inspiration comes back to me for my other works (and money is saved for HACK-R 2.0 research material).

I’m really getting into the Ai Yori Aoshi manga, even though I didn’t like the anime as much. There’s more material in the manga than in the anime. Even so, a chapter is quicker to read than watching an episode of anime, so I get more material crammed into something quick to read, which is perfect for a person like me who has a lot on the go. I still need to get the rest of the PEACH GIRL manga so I can finally finish the series.

I hated Dodge Neons before, and now I hate them even more.

Current Music: T.M.Revolution – ignited

Nishikawa Takanori’s action J-Pop (no other way to describe it) is definitely one of a kind. Known widely as T.M.R. (Takanori Makes Revolution), his music is usually featured as OPs and EDs for lots of action-packed anime like Rurouni Kenshin and Kidou Senshi GUNDAM SEED. If you like techno-rock action music, you’ll like T.M.R.

The one with all the Lesson Reviews.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with this blog ever since I started using Hummingbird last fall. So, I decided to try an idea of mine called Lesson Reviews. Essentially, it’s more of a “what I learned from X anime” than a review, but the thing is, there will be good and […]
