Okay, after playing Katamari Damacy, I realize that it is… just weird. However, it’s weird in a fun way. The characters and atmosphere of the game reminds me of why games were supposed to be fun in the first place.
The sad thing is, I get motion sickness from playing games with an emphasis of fast 3-D movement after a certain period of time, and I played this until I got sick today. Twice. Don’t worry, a little bit of hot water clears away that nausea.
So, as a result, I will probably end up buying the game.
I helped Esmond out with his math homework tonight at the WP. It was a budgeting assignment, which I love. It made me realize that I need to create a budget for myself. It shouldn’t be too hard. The problem lies in following it. Well, I won’t worry about it too much. The making of a budget plan is far more fun than following it – for me, that is.
Deliveries were not too bad at the WP tonight. I got tips from almost everybody, except for this one guy who thought that two cents would be worth my time. Gee, thanks.
After the WP closed up, I went over to James G‘s place and dropped off those Linux Live CDs he asked me to copy. Then, he showed me this “lightsaber” he got from Dennis and Lee. Hahaha. He picked up a copy of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I played it for a bit. Looks like a decent game, but not one I’d buy. Then again, James is a huge fan of the GITS series, and he’s probably the only person I know who didn’t think that Innocence blew. Mind you, that’s a majority opinion, not my own, since I haven’t seen it yet.
Dammit, back to work tomorrow. I can’t believe I didn’t get any writing done this whole long weekend!! Oh, well. At least my Blogger-powered website is up and running.
