Bought the Logitech Internet Navigator that I wanted. It was mostly an impulse purchase, but at least the restaurant’s computer finally got a keyboard and mouse upgrade. It was hella busy. Busy at RS. Busy at WP. Busy everywhere. Busy for the past three days this weekend, I don’t know if I can take anymore. But, I did. On my feet for 13+ hours a day for three days. DAMN it feels good to work this hard. Sure, I get tired by the end of the day and I just wanna collapse on the spot and sleep the sleep of the dead, but damn, I’m working.

I don’t think I’m assistant manager or manager material. I don’t have the calm that everybody seems to have. Even just explaining the policies that we had to follow to a customer was difficult and nerve-wracking. I just lose it and stutter. In the end, it was Dennis who saved the day. I can’t do that stuff. I still see myself with RS for a while to come, though, so I don’t feel so bad. I think that after next year, I’ll take it easy, help the restaurant on the weekends, and fix computers on the weekdays. Yes, I’m gonna start fixing computers again. This time, though, I’m being smart about it by fixing only one at a time. A time being as long as I feel like it. I’m gonna sacrifice my last few hours of the day to fix a computer for anybody when I could be kicking back and relaxing. So, if people don’t like that, then those are the people I won’t be dealing with. I just finished a comp for a guy named Hash, and I heard that he was a bad paymaster from my buddy, Dave. If he doesn’t pay up, I won’t be touching his computer again with a twenty-five foot pole. Nope.

I hope I can save up enough to get an inexpensive iMac soon, so I can practice on them. I’m also hoping to get some time in to study my A+ stuff.

Entries will be sparse in the coming days. I have to burn anime off like crazy again because I filled up my hard drive once more. It’s a neverending cycle. Stopping dead cold is just not an option – what happens to my hobbies then?

Thinking of getting the Zire 71 instead of a Sony Clié. Dennis gave me a lot of points that made sense. Also, I don’t think I’ll be fixing my ol’ Honda beater. I’m gonna work on getting a 90+ Honda Civic hatchback. That’ll be nice to look forward to in the future.

I’m not actually gonna buy all this right away. I’m just making a reminder list. I’m still paying my debts, and my keyboard was the only splurge purchase I made. Stress yourself like crazy at work for a week and see if you can refrain from spending money. I think I did DAMN AWESOME. I had credit available to buy that Sony Clié we had at the Shack, but I didn’t, so I’m proud of myself. I could have bought a bunch of stuff, but I didn’t. I didn’t even buy Chicago on DVD. Mind you, I’ve been eating TONS of Subway, but I gotta treat myself somehow, or I’ll end up like my dad. So, all in all, I spent a total of $40 in splurge. I’m proud.

The end of the month auto-payments are coming up. My paycheck from WP was awesome this time, so I’ll definitely have more leftover to pay the bills. I think I’ll sink that into my RS card and see what else is leftover for the HDTV. w00t!

Gotta sleep. I even went in to RS today, and it was Sunday! Hooked on work? Nah, I’m just crazy.

The one with all the Lesson Reviews.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with this blog ever since I started using Hummingbird last fall. So, I decided to try an idea of mine called Lesson Reviews. Essentially, it’s more of a “what I learned from X anime” than a review, but the thing is, there will be good and […]
