PED XING!!

The Rant

Well, it’s Day 4 of my vacation. Yeah, I forgot to post yesterday, but I was busy showing Hidetoshi my collection of J-Pop PV and Nippon CM videos.

Anyway, we did some fun stuff on Tuesday. Played ICO for a while until I unlocked the left half of the main gate. Then, Hidetoshi tossed in Jade Cocoon 2 for the first time. It’s a truly kick-ass game. If my roommate were playing it, he’d be pointing out all the bad points about it. That drives me nuts. Anyway, I checked out Ruth’s computer and found it to only have 64 MB of RAM. It was not l337. I had to make it l337. So, once Ruth got back from work, we headed over to the nearest computer store and bought a 64 MB DIMM. When I say nearest, I wasn’t even kidding, either! We got in the car and Ruth drove us just around the corner, and then we were there. Oops. I guess she didn’t go there all that often. -_-

When we got back to the apartment – which, by the way, sits on top of a bar (^_^) – I installed the RAM and the machine became 53m1-l337. It still needed a reinstall, but she didn’t have a burner to back up all her data. Well! Anyway, I installed Max Payne and that ran just fine. Ruth called her friend over and we all went to Perkins for dinner. I couldn’t even finish my linguine, due to the fact that I got the salad first. Damn it! At least the waitress was hot. :P

We headed over to their Mega Wal-Mart that just opened up last week, and upon heading over to the entrance, I came across a phenomenon that boggled my mind and sent shivers down my spine.

PED XING

“What the heck was PED XING?!?!” I wondered to myself. Oh, of course. Pedestrian Crossing. But …WHY??? How does that make sense??? I’ll never understand that U.S. sign … -_-

The J-Pop

It’s an old song from LOVEppears, Ayu’s second album, but it’s a good one. Almost every song on each of her albums except for two or three are usually released in a single or as a remix. It’s crazy. It’s hard to hate any of her songs. How can I help it? She’s the best!!

The one with all the Lesson Reviews.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with this blog ever since I started using Hummingbird last fall. So, I decided to try an idea of mine called Lesson Reviews. Essentially, it’s more of a “what I learned from X anime” than a review, but the thing is, there will be good and […]
